Filmbase is now an Adobe Authorised Training Centre. As a member of the Adobe Training Provider Program, we offer expert training to help you develop the skills to fully realize the capabilities of Adobe software and technologies. Our instructors are authorised by Adobe and must meet ongoing certification requirements to maintain their status. A list of the courses available at Filmbase can be found on this page.

PREMIERE PRO
Premiere Pro 101
Introduction to Premiere Pro CS5.5
3 Days
In this Adobe Authorised Training, students will learn all the main features of Adobe video editing software from capturing video and importing tapeless media to creating dynamic titles, adding video effects, mixing audio and managing a project. Then take it to the next level by creating efficiency in your editing projects as well as color correction, exporting sequences and authoring DVDs.
- Touring the Premiere Pro workspace
- Selecting settings, adjusting preferences and managing assets
- Importing and managing tapeless media
- Editing clips to the Timeline and Trimming techniques
- Adding Video transitions and dynamic titles
- Specialised Editing tools and Video Effects
- Audio Mixing
- Managing and Exporting Projects
Each student will receive the official Adobe Premiere Pro course manual and an Adobe certificate of completion.

AFTER EFFECTS
After Effects 101
Introduction to After Effects CS5.5
3 Days
In this Adobe Authorised Training, students will learn the key techniques for working in After Effects and how to work efficiently and deliver in the widest possible range of media types. In addition to learning the key elements of the After Effects interface, topics that will be covered include animating text, working with shape layers and masks, the puppet tool, color correction, 3D objects, advanced editing techniques as well as rendering and output.
Each student will receive the official Adobe After Effects course manual and an Adobe certificate of completion.

Dates: 12 - 14 March
PHOTOSHOP
Photoshop 101
Introduction to Photoshop CS5.5
3 Days
In this Adobe Authorised Training, students will learn how to retouch digital photos, work with layers, masks and channels, navigate the workspace, working with selections, performing adjustments to contrast and colour balance, typographic design and preparing images for print and the web.
Each student will receive the official Adobe course manual and an Adobe certificate of completion.
Cost: €520 members / 550 non-members
Dates: 2012 dates to be confirmed
Course Cancellation Policy
If notice is received at least (i) 14 days in advance of the class, the Customer is entitled to a full refund, (ii) 7 days of the class, the customer is entitled to a full class credit which must be used within 3 months of the date of the original class to another class offered by Filmbase. Customer is not entitled to a refund or class credit if less than 7 day advance notice is given. Failure to provide notice at least 14 days in advance of the class obligates the Customer to pay the full price of the class.
Filmbase reserves the right to amend or cancel the date, time and location of a Training class including replacing the personnel who may be scheduled to deliver the Training. In the event a Training class is cancelled, the customer is entitled to a full refund. Filmbase shall not be responsible for any other loss incurred by Customer as a result of a cancellation or amendment.

VISA, MasterCard, Laser, company or personal check, cash (all in Euros) are all acceptable terms of payment.
