About Filmbase Membership
Founded in 1986, Filmbase has been dedicated to supporting emerging and aspiring Irish filmmakers for over two decades. As a members's led organisation, we offer a range of services including quality training at affordable rates, access to a range of film award schemes, equipment hire at non-commercial rates and the publication of film related news through our weekly e-newsletter and FilmIreland.net. Filmbase also offers information and advice on how to get into film and our city-centre location offers the perfect place to network and talk film!
Filmbase membership is required to access a number of key services that Filmbase offers including access to certain funding award schemes, access to training and fully insured equipment hire at special rates. Members are also kept up-to-date with what's happening in the industry through www.filmireland.net as well as a weekly e-newsletter.
Filmbase's members includes emerging and established filmmakers, production companies, film artists, designers and anyone else with an interest in film. It's easy to join, all you need to do is to fill in our membership form and pay a small annual fee. For a full list of the benefits membership offers see below!

Membership valid for 1 year from date of payment received
- Individual (waged) €65
- Individual (unwaged) €50*
- Corporate €150
*Unwaged membership is for students in full-time education, for those who are currently unemployed and for O.A.P.s. Proof of this will be required in order to avail of this discounted rate. If applying by post please ensure to include a photocopy of the relevant documentation.

How to Join
Filmbase offers a number of ways to sign up for membership. You can apply online, by post, by phone or in person. We accept payment by credit card, cheque, postal order and and bank draft. (Cheques etc. to be made out to Filmbase). Those wishing to pay in cash must do so in person, please do not send cash by post.
